What first aid measures can be taken in case of heat and cold wave?

In hot and humid, it is common for victims people in the open due to alcohol, dehydration, etc. .. Heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke are conditions to control. The first step is to sense common: 1) move the victim from the heat in a tone that is cooler establishment or air conditioning if possible, 2) Loosen the clothing of the victims, 3) Apply cold compresses to the head and neck. 4) If the person is able to speak normally drink of fresh water – water swallow too quickly is not good and can cause vomiting. If the victim is not a diabetic drink sports are a good idea to help replenish minerals (but a lot of sugar for diabetics beware). 5) If the victim is in danger is, semi-conscious or unconscious, call 911 and then apply ice packs to the sides of the neck, armpits and groin. The Cold Weather has its own dangers, superficial frostbite, frostbite, hypothermia y. Frost nip is very common in high wind chill when the skin becomes red, then ground. Freezing is much more dangerous, because the skin is actually frozen and broken skin cells and can become infected if not cared. With the freeze the skin is firm to the touch and generally dark in color. First aid includes: 1) that moves the victim into a warm 2) by removing wet clothing, 3) the victim warm by covering with a dry blanket and put warm compresses on the neck, armpits and groin. Do not rub the injured limb as this will increase tissue damage and can lead to complications. 4) Wrap the ends frostbit with clean bandages. The most common temperature for hypothermia to occur is 65 degrees F, you should not be fooled just because they're no snow or ice – the elderly and the young are more susceptible to hypothermia.
