So, what’s your opinion of “3D”?

Well 3D came back, now all big films seem to be in 3D, not only that even video games are adopting technologies to make themselves be in 3D, but what’s your take on all of that?

Is 3D just a stupid gimmick? is it worth the (often increase) price of Movie Tickets? Will you buy a 3D ready Tv soon? Do you want your video games to aim for 3D (Even if the frame-rate takes a hit)?

Okay… this is def a question for me since I have been bitching about 3D movies for a while now. A long time ago I saw this documentary at the movie theater made by the discovery channel or animal planet or something and it was in 3D. It was absolutely amazing!! The images came off of the screen so far that it nearly touched your face. So needless to say when i saw the first 3D movie coming out, I was stoked. Of course after the movie i realized the 3D technology was no where near the caliber that the documentary was. I’ve prob seen every 3D movie that has come out and some barely come off of the screen and some don’t even try. It’s cool for the depth, but I wanted the come out effect.
