They also go on to say that Britain risks sleep-walking to a Tory victory built on candyfloss. Maintaining that not only was Cameron wrong on how to avert financial meltdown, but he also persists in the preposterous claim that he, against the world consensus, has the right prescription for recovery.

Look, all this ‘Britain is gonna solve the poor world problems ‘ is complete and utter candyfloss. The world has change and Britain is no longer a rich and powerful country. In fact we are damn near bankrupt and probably need to spend the next 2 year hunkering down and trying to bring the books back into balance. Why do these chattering idiots yammer on about an NHS for Africa when even a modern countyry like the USA has no NHS ? The rate Brown is depleting Britains finances we will be lucky to retain our own NHS. It really is time that some other countries stepped up to the plate. India can now afford its own space programme. We can’t. China has invested massively in Africa with regard to exploiting their natural resources, so why can’t they organise an NHS for Africa ? More and more it seems like Britain lives in cloud cuckoo land. We are no longer rich and no longer powerful. We need to concentrate on our own country for a while and solve many of the problems we have at home.
