NATURAL HAIRED BLACK LADIES – what can i use for my natural hair that will keep it manageable?

I bought a leave in conditioner and i have a wrapping lotion but they dont seem to be doing the job. Any other ideas. I really may have to go back to perming, and I really dont want to do that!
Ladies its about day 6 wearing it natural and Im at my wits end. Its so much energy. I’m feeling weak like I need to give in and get a perm. It seems like if I keep it natural its gonna be a constant struggle FOREVER!! I just wanted to share that

I straighten my hair with a ceramic tile hair straightener. Metal is actually bad for your hair. The ceramic brings out the natural oils from within. While I straighten it, I spray the wrapping/setting lotion on it. If that’s not available, then coat it lightly with grease and then run the straightener over it.

Wrap your hair every night–no slacking.
If that doesn’t work, go to your local African American beauty salon and ask for a wash and a straighten. Have someone you trust do your hair.

It’s gonna take alot of practice to get it right if you just started but keep the faith. There are lots of methods to keep your hair managable, I hope my method helps you.

When Ladies Meet – Fullscreen B&W $24.99 Strange Skirts is the TV title of the 1941 MGM film When Ladies Meet. The film was a remake of a 1933 production of the same name, which starred Ann Harding, Myrna Loy and Spring Byington; their roles were taken over in the remake by Greer Garson, Joan Crawford and Spring Byington. Both films are based on a Rachel Crothers play about a lady novelist who falls in love with a married publisher. The novelist (Crawford) meets the publisher’s wife (Garson) at the home of a chatterbox society matron (Byington). The fact that the 1941 version was forced to undergo the censor’s scissors to a greater extent than the 1933 film was compensated by the later version’s lusher production values, which earned an Academy Award nomination for MGM art director Cedric Gibbons and Randall Duell. Ladies Of Canyon (Japan) (Mlps) (Shm) $49.99 Joni Mitchell’s third release found her moving away from the wistful folk of her debut and CLOUDS, branching out into the progressive pop and jazz elements that would define her best work. The bright, poppy “Big Yellow Taxi,” the album’s single, is here, as is her epoch-defining “Woodstock,” a soulful, stirring song about the 1969 rock festival that was later covered by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. But the material on LADIES OF THE CANYON is uniformly strong, demonstrating the mature style and vision that made her one of the leading voices of the ’70s.On songs like, “Conversation” and the title cut, Mitchell’s lyrics begin to turn toward to the quirky, personal poetry of interior landscapes, focusing with a writer’s eye on scene, detail, and the dynamics of human relationships. Her instrumental palette is broadened too, with colorful, textured arrangements that make greater use of piano, as well as strings, reeds, electric keyboards, and percussion. Some songs, like the sweet, chiming “The Circle Game,” seem a bit na?ve, but these are counterbalanced with darker songs like “The Arrangement,” a stark ballad. In all, LADIES OF THE CANYON was Mitchell’s first classic album, one that helped pave the way for its watershed successor, BLUE.
