Inspired by Patek Philippe Art Deco watches’ design in 1930s, new Patek Philippe Ladies First Chronograph Ref. 7071R watch got classical round-rim cushion-cut case, so unique that only few most skillful masters could manufacture. Choosing 18K rose gold as material, not only make the whole watch seem noble, but also can help show ladies’ elegance. Special oblong chronograph buttons designed based on human system engineering, so did the crown.

The new Patek Philippe Ladies First Chronograph Ref. 7071R got both milky white dial and patterns-carved matt black dial editions, two sub-dials on watch dial are 60 seconds counter and 30 minutes counter, their asymmetric scales make the whole dial more featured. Coated with luminated layer, leaf-shaped hour hand and minute hand together with arrow-shaped second hand, Roman numerals scales, baton-style hands in two subdials and special railway-track minute scales, providing high legibility.

Diamonds inlayed way is another feature of new Patek Philippe Ladies First Chronograph Ref. 7071R. Under sapphire crystal there are totally 136 round-cut diamonds on molded edge of watch dial, with fatastic luster, shining like stars. Besides helping show the beautiful shape of ladies’ wrists, also bring women some kind of mysterious temperament.

Linked by movable lug, the hand-made crocodile watch strap and Patek Philippe Ladies First Chronograph Ref. 7071R new creation’s case are so harmonious. Besides providing comfortable wearing feeling, but also show ladies’ luxurious taste.

From the sapphire watch back people can clearly see the first-unveiled CH 29-535 PS hand-wound movement, holding 6 patented innovations, this movement got column-wheel chronograph, seconds-stop function, 4Hz frequency and power reserve to 65-hours. Really charming creation to ladies.

But let’s not be too hard on this Australian quintet over such matters because, after all, this extravagant title actually suits their outrageously over-indulgent, but equally awe-inspiring dark metal symphonies perfectly. Much of the credit for this feat must go to singer, chief songwriter, and head vampire Rowan London, who put his money where his mouth was (literally!) by taking vocal lessons with a professional opera singer prior to this recording. He could still use a little work, but his pipes already show a marked improvement over 2001′s (at times cringe-inducing) Sombre Romantic, as he steps to the fore on opener “Adorned in Ashes.” As for the more reliable musical portion of Elegant. . .and Dying, brazenly ambitious epics such as the nine-minute “Cult of Crucifixion,” and the 20-minute behemoth “The Everlasting,” might look overwhelming on paper, but such is the nature of the album’s cohesive start-to-finish ambience that their bloated lengths hardly betray themselves. Still, there’s nothing like a little restraint to entrust a great song with even more succinct power, and the two-part “And the Kiss of God’s Mouth” is especially beautiful and evocative, if also somewhat reminiscent of previously heard masterpieces by label mates Agalloch. Still, it’s difficult to resist this song’s sheer stylistic breadth, or that of ensuing highlights such as “Renaissance” and “Beloved,” whose melancholy charms will doubtlessly seduce most any open-minded fans of both heavy metal and gothic rock. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
