5 good reasons not to hire an Au Pair!

Not all parents and families are appropriate for the au pair program. Hosting an au pair is very different from hiring a babysitter or local student hire a nanny. These child care options are dictated by the employer-employee. Caring for children donor "pay" each week and may or may not live. Many parents assume that because everyone is asleep, the pair can be used to control the hours of the night – no! If you are a pilot flying at night shift or change, not to hire an au pair.

# 3. You do not have a room suitable: au pair must have their own room – they can share a room bathroom with the children, but they need their own space. Your room should contain a bed, dressing table, wardrobe, chair and table where you can write or work on a laptop. The space should not include family items or storage. The room should also be "adequate" and its counsel to review the room exit in case of fire (think basement), a door solid blocking from the inside and at least one window. If you do not have an extra room that has all these requirements, you should not hire an au pair.

An au pair girl who works all the care for their children, should be able to get into a car and drive to a place where she chooses.
